Dr. Ludie L. Hoffman believed that his founding gifts would lead to successive waves of generosity, enriching the nation’s cultural heritage.  Hoffman’s vision comes to life in The Circle and The Exhibition Circle. These annual giving groups support vital museum programs while allowing members to forge a rewarding relationship with the Gallery.  Below you can also find a list of basic membership levels.  Membership in any category entitles two to participate.
 
 

The Circle

An annual unrestricted gift starting at $1,000 supports the Museum's programs in conservation, special exhibitions, scholarly and scientific research, and more. Circle members enjoy a more intimate experience at the Museum– talking with curators to learn about the collection, attending evening receptions and family programs, and viewing special exhibitions before they open to the public, among other benefits.
 

The Exhibition Circle

An annual gift of $20,000 or more in support of The Exhibition Circle provides the Museum with a crucial source of funds for exhibitions.  At this generous gift level, members will receive all Circle benefits, as well as invitations to opening events for exhibitions sponsored by The Exhibition Circle, recognition in exhibition catalogs, behind-the-scenes tours, and other opportunities.
 
 

Basic Levels of Membership

Contributing Member-$500

All benefits of Sustaining, Proclaiming, and Regular Members, plus
special invitation to all receptions, art talks, and special events. Special invitation and preferred seating at future exhibitions and events.

Sustaining Member-$250

All the benefits of Proclaiming and Regular Members plus preferred seating at future exhibitions and events.

Proclaiming Member-$100

Dues for the first year, plus
invitations to all museum events and exhibition openings.  Special recognition in future membership directory.

Regular Member-$50

Dues for the first 6 months and invitations to all museum events.
